Advanced applications and integrationsMemorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, New York, is the world’s largest and oldest cancer with 473 beds. MSKC uses Allscripts EHR. True to their reputation of innovation, MSKC teamed up with pCare to push the envelope—integrating the pCare platform with new and existing hospital technologies across multiple care settings, including RFID, HVAC control, dietary and medical interpretation). The project spanned multiple care settings, inpatient and ambulatory (most notably, in their infusion clinic).
John R. Oshei Childrens Hospital John R. Oshei Childrens Hospital
Branded Experience, targeted messaging The John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, New York, is a Cerner facility in the Kaleida network. From the start of the project, pCare worked closely with Oshei’s IS and marketing teams to design a beautiful, custom interface that was true to their overall brand, allowed them to use targeted messaging and integrated into their new mobile app. During deployment, the pCare team installed hardware and software for 250 beds over ten days, with minimal disruption to patients and staff. Ongoing, the facility takes advantage of an on-site patient experience representative that trains staff and helps patients better utilize the system.
