pCare Joins The Beryl Institute Community

Membership in the Largest Community of Patient Experience Experts Reflects pCare’s Growing Footprint in Healthcare Settings

New York, NY, June 19, 2019 – Dedicated to improving the patient experience for the healthcare systems, patients and families it serves, pCare™ has joined The Beryl Institute community as an organizational member. The membership will serve as an important channel for pCare’s ongoing work to advance a culture within healthcare systems of optimizing patient experiences to contribute to improved quality, safety and health outcomes.

“When patients enter any healthcare setting, they are often facing the most challenging moments in their lives. Our technology has the power to transform the patient experience and improve the way providers and caregivers engage patients,” said Adam Koch, Chief Performance Officer at pCare. “The Beryl Institute has led important work in fostering a community of committed patient experience professionals and we’re proud to join the Institute to share our passion for equipping all healthcare professionals with the tools they need to improve the patient experience.”

pCare’s interactive patient experience solution helps healthcare providers engage, educate, and entertain patients across the care continuum. The pCare open platform integrates with existing EHR/EMR systems, patient portals and mobile health applications to connect patients, families and caregivers. Recognized by KLAS as the quality leader in the interactive patient systems category, pCare is trusted by leading healthcare organizations to improve care quality, patient outcomes, and financial performance.

The Beryl Institute serves as a resource for shared information and proven practices, a dynamic incubator of leading research and new ideas and an interactive connector of leaders and practitioners. At The Beryl Institute’s 2019 annual conference, pCare sponsored a special session, “Uncovering Opportunities at Discharge: Strategies That Benefit the Patient and the Health System,” where speakers from pCare client partner, Temple University Hospital, discussed the impact of patient engagement programs, including how pCare supports the hospital’s meds-to-beds and baby box programs.

Through its membership and interactions with The Beryl Institute community, pCare will be able to access the growing number of The Beryl Institute resources and share best practices that can contribute to community-wide efforts to enhance the patient experience.

“We are honored pCare has joined The Beryl Institute community as an organization member. This action represents their clear, public and committed stand on the importance and impact of a positive patient experience,” said Jason Wolf, President of The Beryl Institute. “In becoming an organizational member, pCare has reinforced a central point in healthcare today, that people across all roles in healthcare can and do impact the patient experience and should have access to information and colleagues that will support them in their efforts.”
